Here's a very helpful short video outlining the Christian Gospel following the storyline of the Bible: Creation, Fall, Rescue, Restoration.
Well worth the 5 or so minutes it takes to watch, and a lifetime - and eternity - to believe and understand, and to delight in.

So, next Sunday morning, when everyone's talking about Liverpool, or Arsenal, or Man U or Man City (yawn.....!), or STFTUlsterM...., or whatever sportingly happened in the previous day or two, let's try and keep our attention on what's really important, and "encourage each other in the Lord". 

Malachi 3:16 "Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honoured his name."
